I had an outstanding experience working with Great Lakes Roofing Corporation on our commercial flat roof in Kenosha. From my very first conversation with Anthony “Tony” Lloyd, I felt completely comfortable and confident. Tony took the time to listen when I explained the existing standing water issue that had previously damaged the membrane. He recommended a full roof replacement as the solution, and his professionalism and straightforward approach gave me such confidence that I paid for the entire project upfront.
The crew did an excellent job installing the new reinforced membrane system. The work was clean, professional, and safety-conscious. I was particularly impressed with the quality of the installation and the peace of mind that comes with the 25-year manufacturer’s warranty and the 20-year labor warranty from Great Lakes Roofing.
After the project was completed, I noticed the standing water was still present in the low area. Tony had assured me that if the water caused any issues with the new membrane, it would be covered under warranty. Shortly afterward, Christian Hartwig, my assigned account manager, proactively reached out to follow up on the project. When I explained the situation, he immediately took ownership and committed to thoroughly investigating the issue to make sure it is properly resolved.
Overall, Great Lakes Roofing is a professional, trustworthy company that stands behind its work. I would confidently recommend them to other commercial property owners in Wisconsin. I’m very pleased with the experience and feel confident that Christian will ensure this remaining detail is handled correctly to our full satisfaction.

Great Lakes Roofing has been in business for well over 40 years. One of the biggest reasons why we’ve been in business is because of our customer service.
Customer service is one of our company pillars at Great Lakes Roofing. That means that not only do we put an emphasis on it, but we train and we have a company pillar focused on customer service.


It’s not just about product; everybody has the “best” product. It’s really the process of what we do, from start to finish, when we look at a roof to come up with a customized project to fit the needs of not only the customer but the roof itself. From an inside salesperson talking to a customer making sure that they understand what they’re looking for –  to our outside sales going out and making sure that customer understands the full process of how Great Lakes goes about getting that roof put on. And then [the project] goes over to our operations side where we use the best products in the market that we feel will last the longest. We put warranties on [the roof] that are going to last for you.
And then, even when we’re done, we follow back up to make sure that the customer is completely satisfied with that project.
So we’re constantly making touches with every customer that we have –  throughout the process.

We’ve had multiple repeat customers. We’ve had multiple customers who give us the feedback, the references, and the reference letters that help us grow.  For 41 years we’ve been able to live off getting that recommendation from our customers and getting those reviews that are going to show what Great Lakes is about and how we put on roofs.

To me, Great Lakes Roofing is a customer service-oriented company that puts on one hell of a roof! You can probably find a neighbor really close to your business that’s already done a project with us and ask them. And I know what the answer is going to be… – they’re going to be happy.
