Love Inc. – Community Resource

The Southern Lakes Area Love Inc. serves the communities of western Racine County through a variety of services. A food pantry with fresh bakery, a medical closet and a thrift shop are just a few resources that can be accessed at Love Inc. They also host seasonal efforts like providing school supplies, winter coats, and holiday meals.

In advance of our roofing project at Love Inc. in August 2022, our Great Lakes Roofing Crews conducted a school supplies drive. Between all of our Crews we were able to overflow TWO shopping carts with folders, loose leaf, backpacks, lunch boxes, pencils, markers, and so much more!

Love Inc. – Roofing Project

On the Love Inc. campus, they have a small set of apartments that have been utilized by a variety of community members in need of a safe place to start anew. However, the roof over this part of the campus started to leak through old rusty vents and made the living space uninhabitable.

Our Great Lakes Roofing Crews were able to replace the vents, the ridge cap, and all of the shingles to once again make this building into a usable home. Over the course of two days, the full roof was redone and the site was cleaned up good as new.

We value using our roofing skills to build community. Every year we complete Helping Hands projects that provide roofing to community organizations. Helping Hands furthers the mission of the organizations by off-setting the costs of repairs or roof replacement, allowing more of their capital to stay mission-focused.

We build community one roof at a time because we value our neighbors, believe in strengthening our communities, and take pride in where we call home.
