Helping Hands 2025 Building Community Together
What are Helping Hands Projects?
Building Community One Roof at a Time
Since the beginning of our corporation in 1983, we’ve been completing charitable roofing projects in communities across Wisconsin. These projects came to be known as Helping Hands projects. Sometimes, a helping hand is all an organization or a family needs to make it through.
As with all roofing projects, each one has its own unique scope of work. Some buildings need repairs, some need a full roof replacement. Each Helping Hands project aims to meet the roofing needs of the recipient. Some projects go a bit further.
Some projects share the mission of the nonprofit recipient with our community. Creating a mission echo chamber has the ability to connect people to resources or resources to an audience. Some projects’ roofing components are accompanied by a supplies drive or other donations that further support the mission of the nonprofit recipient.
2025 Project Recaps
We’ve had a great year of successful Helping Hands projects!
We revisited the Richfield Historical Society and completed more roofs at their homestead complex. Then our Crews completed a total roof replacement at the Chestnut Center for the Arts in Marshfield. This nonprofit revived a century-old church into a lively community hub bustling with performances, classes, and visual arts.
Our friends at Camp Hometown Heroes received a truck-load of snacks to support their Campers. Summer camp is for growing, healing, and of course snacks in the summer sun with friends. In June we enjoyed our third annual Roc’ N Pink game with the Milwaukee Milkmen and ABCD: After Breast Cancer Diagnosis. Sponsoring the tshirts helps connect people in our wider community with resources like the one-to-one support ABCD offers to anyone affected by a breast cancer diagnosis.
Our final all-staff event of the year, Sporting Clays, was a great opportunity to collect donations in support of the Ronald McDonald House. We support both the Marshfield and Madison locations with roof inspections and repairs as needed. There’s a lot more that goes into a House than just a roof. So we collected food, cleaning supplies, personal supplies, and gift cards for the Guests. The generosity of our Crews filled three banquet tables and speaks volumes about their compassion for others.
