Take a deep breath. You’ve made it through the process of setting roof inspections, reviewing estimates and proposals, and signing a contract. That’s a big deal!

Before a Crew can show up to work on your roof, there are a few additional beginning steps to consider: send your down payment and ask your sales team any questions you may have. We’ll determine what (if any) permits are required for your project, and whether or not your roof requires ballast rock to be vacuumed off. Then, we’ll set expectations, considering desired timelines, needs, and goals.
Throughout the process, remember your commercial roofing job is being custom-designed and will contain its own unique circumstances.
You can count on us
There are steps in the Great Lakes Roofing process that you can count on. We will be in touch by phone, email, and in person. We will let you know when your job is scheduled for deliveries of dumpsters, porta johns, or roofing materials. (Key signs we’re getting really close to working on your roof!)
A majority of jobs will also have a team of professionals perform a Job Walk with you on your property to ensure we have considered all safety measures and materials needed. When your materials are scheduled to be loaded onto your roof, we will be sure there’s a plan for your people to maneuver safely around the delivery process without disrupting your business-as-usual.
Then, it’s time for the roofing project to begin. We’ll schedule a Crew, they’ll get the job done, and we’ll arrange to take all of our equipment back off of your roof. You can count on it!
The roof is complete – is that the end?
- Roof Inspection – a quality control professional will go over every part of the roof in detail to ensure the work meets warranty standards
- Invoice – based on your agreed-upon terms, you’ll receive an invoice for the completed work
- Check-in Calls – Count on your sales team to check in on you and your roof project
